Today was Chloe's mothers day celebration at her school. We were all set to go (saturday here) and she said do we wait for Mommy or she's going to be there? I paused...taken aback. Apparently the teachers have been saying to the kids all week that for the mothers day thing, all the mommies were coming. Anyways, when I told her that her mommy wasn't coming, and that I would be there for her and it would be extra special, she didn't buy it ,and wouldn't go. She just dropped to the floor, and said she didn't want to go. So we went to the zoo instead. We fed giraffes and camels.
